Getting started with PlayStream:
- Login to your account
- Go to Manage Content in PlayStream's
My Account section.
- Upload the content you wish to podcast to the
"progressive" folder of your PlayStream on-demand
account. Media has to be in your progressive folder
and in a podcast-ready format (.mp3 or .m4a for
audio. .mov or .m4v for video)
- Click on the media file name from your progressive
folder. Please do not click on the check box.
- At the bottom of the page, click on Create
a Podcast. (View

- Fill out the form to describe your overall "channel."
Click Next. (View

- Review your information. Click Save.

- You are given the URL for your newly created podcast
channel. (View

- Take this URL and put it into any podcast client
such as iTunes.

Using iTunes to podcast your media content:
- Open iTunes
- Go to your top settings, click on 'Advanced'
and select 'Subscribe to Podcast.'

- In the text field, copy and paste the URL that
was given to you from PlayStream. Click
OK. (View

- Your name and description for the channel + item
will appear up in the directory just as you entered
them. (View

Adding additional files, removing a file and deleting your podcast channel:
- Go to Manage Content in PlayStream's
My Account section.
- Select a media file from your progressive folder.
Media has to be in your progressive folder and
in a podcast-ready format (.mp3 or .m4a for audio.
.mov or .m4v for video).
- At the bottom of the page, click on Add
this file to your podcast. (View

- Fill out the information. Click Save.

- Take this URL and put it into any podcast client
such as iTunes.
- NOTE: Additional items added
to the podcast will automatically be downloaded
by podcast subscribers (exactly how they are downloaded
is determined by settings in the podcast client).
- Deleting a file, click on Remove this
file from your podcast. (View

- Deleting your podcast channel, click on Delete

Important Note:
Your Podcasting can contain multiple files, but you can only have one
podcast. If you need multiple Podcasts, you will have to open an additional
service with PlayStream.
